Welcome to the Tamar Organics website updated for 2012. Click on the Catalogue bar above to browse and buy online. Once you have submitted your order you will receive a confirmation e-mail, please check your order number. There are a few changes to the web site this season, you will, for example be able to store your unfinished shopping cart for 14 days or until you complete the purchase or empty your shopping cart at the check out. There is no need to use the save cart facility unless your computer automatically cleans your cookies.

All our seeds, onion sets, shallots, garlic, potatoes and plant materials are organic. We offer a very extensive range of vegetable seeds. You will find some well known varieties and some that you may not be familiar with but which, when you try them, will become firm favourites.

New to the range this season are a baby carrot called Bambino, a tall growing late cropping pea called Senator, a blight tolerant tomato called Quadro and a not quite white, pale skinned tomato called Mirabelle Blanche. We are also very pleased to be able to offer some great varieties as organic seed this season. Tomato Tigerella, Pea Onward, New Zealand Spinach and Squash Jack be Little. We have some new titles in the book section including Jackie Sherman`s Making the most of your glorious glut and The fruit tree handbook by Ben Pike, and a good book for beginners How to grow your own food.

Tamar Organics gift vouchers are now available to buy online as £5 and £10 vouchers -see the Miscellaneous section. We can send them with a catalogue and your message to the recipient or to you. 

We offer a comprehensive range of organic vegetable and herb seed, onion and shallot sets, garlic, seed potatoes, soft fruit, top fruit, green manures and even some flower seeds. The composts and fertilisers we offer are all permitted for use in organic systems. The pest control is the most environmentally friendly available.

Tamar Organics started as a small organic market garden in 1994. Our mail order catalogue evolved alongside it as we searched for organic compost, fertiliser and seed. We hope you enjoy browsing the online catalogue.
