 All our seeds, onion sets, shallots, garlic, potatoes and plant materials are organic. We offer a very extensive range of vegetable seeds. You will find some well known varieties and some that you may not be familiar with but which, when you try them, will become firm favourites.

The main change you may notice this year is we are not offering spring sown onion sets. If you ordered our onion plantlets we will be sending them out shortly. The weather has been so cold this spring that most of our plant material like comfrey, rhubarb and horseradish will be delayed but we will begin to send them Mid April onwards.

The cold weather has also meant that our seed potatoes are storing well and we can still supply Second Early and Maincrop varieties. See the online catalogue for availability. We are having to delay all the main outdoor plantings so you can continue to order seeds of all varieties and do not worry that conditions are not suitable for planting yet. Later sowings will catch up and be more sucessful. 

We offer a comprehensive range of organic vegetable and herb seed, shallot sets, garlic, seed potatoes, soft fruit, top fruit, green manures and now an even more extensive range of flower seeds. The composts and fertilisers we offer are all permitted for use in organic systems. The pest control is the most environmentally friendly available.

Tamar Organics started as a small organic market garden in 1994. Our mail order catalogue evolved alongside it as we searched for organic compost, fertiliser and seed. We hope you enjoy browsing the online catalogue.
