Well, you should be digging potatoes, onions and garlic now. It has been an excellent season and I hope you are getting good crops.

We are taking orders for autumn onion sets and garlic which this year includes elephant garlic.

It is time to plant spring cabbages and there is still time to continue succession sowing lettuce, radish, carrots, chard, chicory, endive, turnip, spring onions, rocket and spinach.

Also remember to cover bare ground with green manures to prevent nutrient loss.

We offer a comprehensive range of organic vegetable and herb seed, onion and shallot sets, garlic, seed potatoes, soft fruit, top fruit, green manures and even some flower seeds.

The composts and fertilisers we offer are all permited for use in organic systems. The pest control is the most environmentally friendly available while the propagation sundries offer a range of biodegradable pots.
